Welcome!

My name is Pamela and I am in my early thirties. I have struggled with my weight consistently since about the 3rd grade. Several situations conspired in early 2006 to make me realize that I needed to do something to get my life under control. On June 5, 2006, I joined Weight Watchers. It completely changed my life and over the next couple of years, I lost 160 pounds. Unfortunately, circumstances over the past year have caused me to gain quite a bit back. I haven't given up and am continuing to work hard to relose the weight.

While this website was originally created in order to help me cope with the new experiences and thoughts that the weight loss brought my way, it has become so much more. I originally stated that this site was "my way of trying to figure out how to live with the new me." Now, this site is my way of trying to figure out how to live with me as I am, no matter what I weigh.

Regardless of your weight, weight loss plan (or lack thereof), you are welcome here. This is a place for all who have ever felt different or not quite "good enough."
