Learning To Live After Losing A Person

Archer Farms Update

February 28th, 2008 by Pamela

So I’m still not sure why the idiots at Archer Farms decided to change their fruit strips from delicious, thick fruit strips to foul-tasting plastic, but the fact remains that they did.  I took a trip to Target last weekend and checked out their selection of fruit strips.  Sure enough, every single box has switched to the new ones.  However, after digging all the way to the back of the shelf, I was able to find a bunch of the old ones and bought darn near all of them.  I think I bought about 16 boxes of them.  It was worth it.  I’m still devastated.  These will only last so long.

I noticed that the new and old strips have the exact same nutritional information, except (if I remember correctly) the new strips have a bit more sodium in them.  I wonder if the nutritional information on the original strips was wrong and so they recreated the strips to match the nutritional information?  If that’s the case, I’d rather they just correct the information on the box.  Even if they have more calories, I’d rather take the hit on points and still have my yummy snack.
