Learning To Live After Losing A Person

A Grocery Expedition

March 10th, 2008 by Pamela

Since I’ve changed my eating habits, grocery shopping has become somewhat of an expedition, or scavenger hunt.  It can get pretty frustrating.

There are particular items that I love or eat regularly.  Sadly, there are no stores that sell ALL of the items I’m looking for.

For example, a typical grocery shopping trip for me involves anywhere from 2-3 different stores.  Store A may stock Items 1 and 3, but not Item 2.  Store B may stock Items 2 and 3, but not Item 1.  And then, I get to Store A or B and they’re out of Item 3, so insert Store C here.  Argh.  Any more “food finds” and it might as well become a full-time job.

I know that it would be the size of about ten football fields, but I wish there was one store that sold it all.  At least it would be good exercise getting down all of the aisles.
