Archer Farms Fruit Strips/Target

I have previously posted a couple of times regarding the new switch in the Archer Farms Organic Fruit Strips sold at Target.  Apparently, somewhere along the way, they decided to change them.  I personally think the new ones are disgusting, and have since learned that I’m not alone in that regard.

I decided to contact Archer Farms last Sunday night.  I went to their website, and sent them an e-mail through it.  The e-mail actually goes through Target, of course.  I received a reply the very next day.  While I am still clueless as to why the strips have been changed, or if there will ever be any hope that they will return to the yumminess they were before, I am now $9 richer.

The customer service representative who replied apologized for my inconvenience and the fact that I was not satisfied.  She requested my last name and address and said that she would send me some coupons.  I figured they would be in the neighborhood of “10% of your next Target purchase” or something along those lines.  To my surprise, I received them today.  Fast!  And there were three $3 coupons with no expiration date.  It’s like cash (that can only be used at Target).  Considering I will be throwing the boxes of fruit strips away, I feel like I got my money back.  I’m a satisfied customer.  Of course, I’d be more satisfied if they would bring my darn fruit strips back!

Anyway, I have to admit that I’m pretty impressed with Target’s online customer service!
