Learning To Live After Losing A Person

Measurements

May 9th, 2008 by Pamela

To anyone wanting to lose weight, especially a great deal of weight, I highly recommend that you get in the habit of taking your measurements from the very first day.

It is a wonderful way to encourage yourself.  There are times when you just might not be seeing the results on the scale, even though you know that you’ve been working your butt off.  Sometimes those results will show up in inches lost.

Unfortunately, I didn’t start taking my measurements until after I’d already lost 15 pounds.  But it’s given me a good reference point for where I’ve come from.

I haven’t taken my measurements in a while.  Probably because I’ve been so discouraged by my ups and downs over the past several months.  The last time I took my measurements was on August 3, 2007.  I took them again tonight and am very pleased.

Since August 3rd, I’ve lost the following amount of inches from the listed areas of my body:

Inches Lost since 8/3/07

And the inches lost between the first time I took my measurements (6/26/06) and today:

Total Inches Lost as of 5-9-08

Pretty crazy, huh?  Oh and I think it’s interesting that apparently I don’t gain weight at all in my ankles.  Maybe nobody does?
