Learning To Live After Losing A Person

Today brought a gift

I love waffles.  I always have.  Since starting Weight Watchers, my two favorite brands have been Eggo Low-Fat Nutrigrain and Kashi Honey Oat.  Both are delicious and are 3 points for a serving of two waffles.  At least they were until this week.

While the Eggo ones are good, the Kashi have been my favorite.  I think their flavor is just a bit better.  Unfortunately, they are also quite a bit more expensive, so I’ve stuck to the Eggo ones for quite a while.

I love waffles so much that I usually eat them every day Monday through Friday.  This past Monday morning, I went to add the Eggo waffles to my WW online tracker and they came up as only two points.  Figuring this was just a glitch in the program (it’s been known to happen), I have been adding an extra point in there every day.  Until today.  I opened a new package of Eggo waffles and decided to double-check the nutritional information in my points calculator.  Sure enough, they’re now only two points for a serving of two waffles!  It’s sad, but I felt like my birthday had come really early this year!
