Learning To Live After Losing A Person

Cruelty

June 28th, 2008 by Pamela

Cruelty, as defined by Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary:

The quality or state of being cruel.

Cruel, as defined by Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary:

Disposed to inflict pain or suffering : devoid of humane feelings.

Cruelty or Cruel, as defined by me:

Handing me two extra-large, extra-chocolatey cupcake/muffins with sinfully creamy chocolate frosting and saying, “If you don’t want these, give them to your parents.”

Uh-huh.  I told you.  Cruel.

I did good, though.  You’d be proud of me.  I wrapped them in foil and gave them to my dad.  I didn’t have a single bite of those little bits of heaven.

Okay, I did lick the frosting that inadvertently ended up on my finger, but that’s it.

Good job! I’m not sure those cupcakes would have been safe with me.
