It’s a miracle! Somehow, I actually lost 1.3 pounds this week! Even with the huge Hunchback dressing on my back! I was sure that I had gained, because every time that I peeked at the scale over the weekend, it would show me being up five or six pounds. That’ll teach me to peek.
I’m doing much, much better today. I’m still exhausted, but my pain has subsided quite a bit. Yesterday, I would have said that my pain was at a 7 on a 10-point scale, but today it’s more of a 1-2. The cauterizing itself would have been more around the arena of about a 20.
My dermatologist was somehow able to squeeze me in on Thursday morning. Thank God, because I want this damn dressing off. Trying to find a shirt to wear that doesn’t make it too noticeable isn’t easy. The fun part is that my doctor is at their “other” office on Thursday which means a 30-minute drive to get there (as opposed to 5 minutes). And, of course, gas around here decided to make a 10 cent leap upwards today.
Seeing as how I’m about to fall asleep as I sit here writing this, I think it’s safe to say that I should be able to get some sleep tonight.
One thing I’ve noticed since I joined Weight Watchers is that it seems to make the weeks go by faster. Didn’t I just weigh in? On to next week!
