July 17th, 2008 by Pamela

I needed gas on Monday - it was $4.06.

I really needed gas on Tuesday (payday) - $4.16.

I desperately needed gas on Wednesday - $4.16.

I broke down and got gas on Wednesday, because the light came on - $4.16.

Thursday morning, I go to get my dressing taking off - $4.11.

Thursday afternoon, I drive to work - $4.09.

Grrrrrrrrr.

I know, isn’t that always the way. Gas is $4.35/gallon here and that’s at Costco, the cheapest place in town. What’s so funny to me is that since gas has gone up this high the lines at Costco are unbelieveable. They must have about 20 gas pumps and each line for the pump is usually over six cars or more long. It’s crazy. Seems like the higher the price the longer the lines. I don’t get it.
