So, was anybody else as freaking excited about the start of the new Biggest Loser season? Sadly, I missed the first 15 minutes, but I’m so pumped right now. I’m looking forward to getting sucked into these people’s lives. As I start to write this, I’m not even all the way through the first episode and it’s already brought me to tears.
Just a few random thoughts:
It was sad to see the green team go, because they seem like really sweet people, but they’ve done fantastic since they were sent home. I am glad Heba is going to still be around, because I think she is going to be the one to watch for terrific quotes this season. She had two wonderful ones tonight. At one point, her husband, Ed, says “Tomorrow is another day,” and Heba responds, “No. Today is tomorrow.” What a great quote. Something for us all to remember. Later on, she says, “There’s no epidural for exercise. It’s really unfortunate.”
It still drives me absolutely up a wall how Alison says the word “hundred” when she’s declaring a person’s weight. It’s like “your weight is four hundred and 98 pounds” or something like that. It’s like she’s saying, “can you believe how big you are?!” I’m also amazed at how vicious Bob and Jillian are! I don’t know how these people do it. I’d die. It’s the first episode and I’m already so sucked in that I worry about these people and their health.
I loved how the teams supported each other after the hill climb even though they had been competing against each other.
I’d love to have a BodyBugg, but they’re so freaking expensive!
The weigh-in results this week were amazing, but I’m guessing a lot of it was water weight. It kind of makes me sad, though, that there is a situation in which someone could lose 9 pounds in one week and feel like it’s not good enough.
Perhaps the start of this season is what I need to get my ass into gear. I adore this show.

I was in Atlanta for the first show of BL and totally missed it! Instead, I was eating at Maggiano’s (yummy Italian food). I should have been watching BL instead. I love that show too.
I’m sorry you missed it! I was sad that I missed the first 15 minutes, but the rest of the episode was fanatstic. I have to admit, though, that your italian dinner sounds better.
