My walk was called on account of rain today. It’s been pouring all day. Normally I adore the rain, but not when it interferes with my walks and when I have to drive in it. And I wasn’t about to go for a walk in the rain. I just don’t enjoy the rain or walking that much. So without shedding a tear, I went back to bed.
Day two of my second week has gone well. Except for the lack of exercise yet again.
I’m currently eating my lunch which consists of:
- Ambrosia apple (1 point) – I am seriously still loving these.
- Weight Watchers Vanilla yogurt (1 point)
- Curves 90 calorie popcorn (1 point)
- Gardenburger sandwich (3 points)
- 2 slices Sara Lee Delightful 100% Whole Wheat with Honey bread (1 point)
- 2 slices Borden Fat Free Sharp Cheddar Cheese (1 point)
- 1 Sun-Dried Tomato Gardenburger (1 point)
All for a grand total of 6 points. I told you. I’m a quantity eater.
Anyway, I’m sure I’ll be munching on the popcorn for a while. This is usually what I take to work every day. The only thing that ever really changes is the sandwich. Sometimes it’s a sandwich made with deli meat (I like the Oscar Mayer Shaved Rotisserie Chicken – 1 point), and sometimes I bring a package of Microwave Hamburger Helper instead (I like the Cheesy Beef Taco the best – 4 points). Every once in a while there’s a rare occasion where I might have actually cooked something, and then I might bring leftovers. But I try to keep them at 3-4 points, and the other items usually stay about the same.
I used 4.5 flex points today, so I’m still under my 5 a day, and have 26 remaining for the rest of the week.
I’m hoping that tomorrow will be a bit sunnier, so that I can go for my walk. I’m actually kind of looking forward to it. Who would have thought that that would ever happen?
