Pogo

Since it is now 5:06 a.m. and I am just now starting to contemplate dinner and bed, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that I won’t be getting up early today to work out.  I’d guess that that is pretty safe to say.

This time, it’s Pogo.com’s fault.  Around 3:00 a.m., I thought about how I was really tired and would really like to go to bed so that I could get up early to work out (I swear, I did!), but I just wanted to finish one more challenge.  Just one more.  I was almost there.

Normally, I usually ignore the chat area to the right of the screen on Pogo.  I might glance at it every once in a while, but I’m usually on there killing time while I’m doing something else, like watching TV or a movie.  I’m a multi-tasking kind of person.  I can’t ever be doing just one thing at at time.

Tonight, though, I somehow found myself in the middle of a massive political debate.  As I said, I rarely ever talk to anyone on there, but this discussion caught my eye and I couldn’t help myself.  It was getting so ridiculous, I had to join in.  Two hours later….the rest is history.

I will admit that I’m addicted to Pogo.  There’re some great games on there.  I haven’t been on there as often lately, because I’ve been spending more time reading blogs, but it’s a great little way to keep your hands busy and away from food.
