It’s no wonder that I live in a constant state of fear of embarrassing myself, because sometimes I just do incredibly stupid things.
My latest feat of stupidity occurred this evening when I was preparing my dinner at work. The trashcans in our kitchen area are hidden under the countertops. You pull on a handle, and they slide out. I always cut my apple (my delicious, sweet
Ambrosia apple) on the counter over the trash so that I can just drop the discarded pieces in the trash as I cut. Easy, right?

Hi everyone! I just wanted to put out a quick note to wish you all a very happy (and safe) Halloween. I also wanted to wish everyone luck in getting through the night unscathed by the candy bowl.
Luckily for me, I have to work tonight (did I really just say that?), so unless some cruel soul decides to fill the office with gooey little treats, then I should be okay.
