Tips from the BL Trainers

Skye-Lynn was so generous as to send me a link to information on the recent Biggest Loser episode of Oprah since I missed it.  There was a link from there that contained a Q&A with Bob & Jillian.  Many of their tips are things that reinforce what I’ve learned over the past two years from the wonderful people I’ve met through Weight Watchers.  I found it very interesting and helpful, and I thought I would share!

At one point, they discuss the need for taking a day or two off from exercise to heal and rest.  I immediately thought of you, Diana!  Miss Exercise Queen!

Pamela – I love the Bob & Jillian Q&A’s. But it sort of back fired on me.

I’ve been sitting here all morning thinking, well, it’s not raining, I don’t have time for the gym and don’t feel like it, but it’s a great day for a run. Then I read your post and as I’m clicking through the Q&A’s looking for the one about taking a day or two off from exercising, I come upon the one about running. How it’s the best exercise and if Jillian had to pick one exercise it would be running. The Bob says it burns a lot of calories. It’s a sign.

So guess where I’m off to right now. That’s right…running in the fall leaves.
    Thanks!

Just to let you know, today is suppose to be my day off from the gym. I drove there anyway thinking I really wanted to work out. Then I thought of you and this post. I didn’t get out of my car and drove straight home. It felt good. Thank you Pamela!

    Diana,

I’m glad that it sounds like you enjoyed your run! I also thought their comments were really interesting. You’re a major inspiration to me and I’m proud of you for taking some time to rest your body!
