Sorry for the short post, but I just had to give a shout-out to Roni for her post about a quote by Winston Churchill.
“Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.”
— Sir Winston Churchill

I have to agree with her and say that this is probably one of the most important things I think anyone pursuing weight loss can remember. I’ve often said that I think the key to my success at the beginning was my enthusiasm and excitement over the whole process. I lived week to week, looking forward to stepping on that scale! I know that sounds crazy, but it’s true!
I honestly think that that was my problem when I started slipping this year. I lost the enthusiasm. I’m working hard to get it back!

It is so tough to be enthusiastic about saying no to all of our favorites this time of year, isn’t it?!
I think the beginning of the new year will make it easier for all of us to refocus.
Good Luck, Pamela, and continued success (and enthusiasm!) to you.
great quote and sooo true about WL
I hear ya, Pamela!!! I’ve been sliding since last week and if I don’t get it under control, the gains can add up. I’ve only been a WW Lifetime Member since November and still trying to get the “maintaining” mentality. It’s so easy to say “okay, I’ve reached my goal, I can stop now”.
Boy, if only we could bottle up our enthusiasm for the rough spots!
