Ready for the Weekend

I don’t know about you all, but I am entirely ready for the weekend.  I just feel completely wiped out.  This week wasn’t overly difficult life-wise or work-wise, just had a lot to think about.

I have several goals for this weekend:

  1. Get my car washed – WAY overdue.  My used-to-be-dark-blue car is currently white/gray from all of the salt and snow gunk
  2. Go hiking at least once
  3. Stay on plan
  4. Attempt to make homemade soynuts from the soybeans I bought last weekend
  5. Attempt to make homemade potato chips from the potatoes I bought last weekend
  6. I’m also determined to try the quinoa I bought, since Ron keeps raving about it!
  7. Get my Christmas packages mailed to a couple of friends of mine.  Yes, I do realize it is almost February.  I suck!
  8. Mail my income taxes.

Those are the only goals I’ve set for myself for the weekend.  I have a ton of other stuff that I need to do, but I think this is plenty for now.  The rest of the time I plan on running errands and relaxing and recharging my brain.  Or attempting to, anyway.

Are you all ready for the weekend, too?  Any goals that you’re setting for yourself?

I’m ready for the weekend too, but I’m not as ambitious as you. I want to sleep 10 hours non-stop! I can’t wait.

Plus two last chance workouts before the rock climbing on Wednesday. I’m going to go for 1 hour cardio and 1 hour weights, Sat. and Sun. Hiking sounds more fun but I need big muscles to get up that stupid wall. :)

    Have fun this weekend!

Now, of course, the fact that I posted all of these goals doesn’t mean I will actually DO them. :o )

Miz, I’m glad I’m not the only one!!

Maggie, I will definitely let you all know how it goes!

Lyn, I hope you feel better soon!

Diana, you still continue to amaze me! I think you deserve that 10 hours of sleep. I want to hear all about your rock climbing and with pictures!! You’re going to do great!
