Okay, obviously the Chips Ahoy cookies that I’ve been eating the past couple of days have gone to my brain.
My mom introduced me to the chunky ones and OMG yum. I think I’m going to have to smack her.
BUT, I did go grocery shopping last night and stocked the place with good-for-me stuff and some of my old favorites from when I was actually on plan. So I’m prepared. Tomorrow is the day. My butt will be back on the wagon.
I do feel so accomplished though! Last night after work, I went to Super Wal-Mart and got groceries and necessities (like mouthwash and “Twilight” (yes, I know it was a terrible movie, but that’s why it’s so great)). I then dropped off my library books that sadly were due last Friday. Argh. So much for free books, huh? When I got home, I did laundry and made my Mardis Gras Concoction. Unfortunately, it turned out a bit soupy this time around so I’m going to have to see what it’s like when I heat it up tonight. I was able to get 14 bowls out of it, though. Thank God for freezers.
So I got a lot done. We won’t mention the fact that had I not procrastinated, it would not have been necessary to do so much in one evening. I sometimes wonder if procrastination is really my middle name. I often let things pile up until I have to take care of them. Hmmmm…kind of like my weight?

Twilight was a terrible movie??? Did we see the same movie? I loved it. Even my husband liked it. I can’t wait for the next one, it should be even better.
Procrastination…that’s my middle name too. We’re so much alike, you and I. Except that your sweet and kind, and have a Doris Day personality (I saw it on Facebook so it must be true!). That’s where we’re different.
Diana! How are you, my friend? I really liked the books and loved that the movie was pretty faithful to it. I just thought the acting for the two main characters was terrible (it made me laugh in inappropriate places – but the supporting actors were great) and that it seemed low-budget. I AM looking forward to the next one, though!
LOL I don’t think I could EVER reach Doris Day’s league but thank you. I have to disagree, though. I think you’re sweet and kind, too!
