I actually opened my points tracker (progress!) and then plotted the outline of my food for the day. While I didn’t get absolutely everything on there that I ate, there were only a couple of variations that really weren’t by more than five extra points. So yes, I would say major progress.
Even beyond that, I actually got out of bed early and went for a walk! Yes! Me! It’d been a while. Of course, I had a raging sinus headache by the time I got home, but it was worth it. It was a gorgeous day. A sunny 60 degrees Fahrenheit with a cool breeze. I even saw the ice cream man making his rounds. Yes, I declined to make a run for his truck. I was a good girl.
On another note, I’m so freaking excited about a new exhibit that’s coming to the Kansas City Union Station. From the end of May to August, there is going to be an exhibit on The Chronicles of Narnia. You can check out more details here. How fun does that look!
I was also talking to my dad about my trip to California, and he told me that we had a distant cousin – back in the 1930s, I believe – that actually worked at Alcatraz. I think he worked with the engineering or heating system or something. Very cool!
I’m still tired, but am in a pretty darn good mood today.

Glad to see you’re making progress.
