My company’s intranet has a “Word of the Day” definition on its homepage. Today’s word and definition was this:
embonpoint
\ahng-bohng-PWANG (the “ng” is never pronounced, but the vowels are nasalized)\noun
: plumpness of person : stoutness
You learn something new every day. I was embonpoint all these years and didn’t know it.
