No More Sundays

That’s it.  I’m not allowed to have any more Sundays.  And I don’t mean sundaes, because that’s not a problem.  I actually mean no more Sundays – as in the day of the week.

I do fine Saturday (for the most part).  I was even down two pounds this past Saturday.  And then Sunday hit and I blew it all out of the water and am back up again.  Argh.  I’ve noticed that pattern over the past several weeks.  So, of course, the best solution is to not allow myself any more Sundays, right?  Now, how I’m going to achieve that without having to work an extra day, I haven’t quite figured out yet.  ;)

Overall, I did have a good weekend.  Mowed yesterday and ran some errands.  Nothing special.  Whoever would have thought that I would actually end up not minding mowing the grass?  Granted, my “shoot me now” attitude kicks in about halfway through, but if I can get past that, then I’m okay.  I actually kind of look forward to it now.

Saturday morning, I got up bright and early and went to see the new Harry Potter film.  I LOVED it!  I have to say that it’s one of my favorites in the series.  Considering I was deeply disappointed with several of them, that’s not really hard to do.  Of course, it can’t ever compare to the book, and I was also deeply disappointed with some of the things they decided to leave out (particularly towards the end), but I enjoyed the humor and interaction between the characters.

My mom and I then grabbed Schlotzky’s for lunch and headed out to our favorite hiking spot for a bit of walking.  It was a beautiful day.  In the low 80′s with a cool breeze.  It was nice to get out there again, but it’s just been too hot lately.

I have to say that I’m tentatively impressed and pleased with the new OFF! Clip-on bug repellent.  We decided to give them a try since we constantly feel like we’re being attacked by mosquitoes while we’re out there, but this time we weren’t bugged (hee hee) at all by them.

So I’m not optimistic about weigh-in tomorrow, but I am optimistic that I can beat this most recent trend…as long as I can get past those terrible Sundays.

What is it about Sundays? The food, activity level? Sundays are my favorite day of the week…I would be so sad to see you leave it behind!

You can and you WILL beat this trend…all things in moderation! If you indulge in a little end-of-the-week treat, go for an evening walk, etc. There should be place for relaxation and enjoyment…you deserve it!

I guess Sunday needs to be just another day – without going in to work. good luck on changing what happens on Sundays.
