Technological Kryptonite

That would be me.

Of course, the night I post about not having such good luck with technology lately, I have another incident to add to the list.  I’m driving home from work.  It’s another hot summer night, but there’s a decent cool breeze, so I decide to roll down the windows.  Three go down just fine.

Not the driver’s window of course.  It goes down about two inches and then I hear a crunch.  And it stops.  And it’s not moving.  Did I mentioned I was on the highway at the time?

When I got home, I was able to pull the window back up and it stays if I let go.  Unfortunately, I can also pull it right back down.

So God only knows how much this is going to cost me.  Maybe the new laptop wasn’t such a good idea…

Speaking of, I better get off of it before it decides to spontaneously combust or something….

May your day be technologically blessed.

I’m so glad you got it figured out and are back. You scared me!

Hey – funny thing – I’m having the same technical Kryptonite thing going on.

My laptop at home literally overheated and burned up about two weeks ago. I had to buy a new one last week. AND my work computer died on Monday – same thing. Got so hot it overheated and fried the hard drive.

It must be because you and I are so HOT. :)

Take care and keep posting. Your mojo will come back. It’s just taking a much-needed sabbatical for now.

So happy to see you back. I really enjoy your posts. I am struggling also right now and can’t understand why I don’t just do this. It helps to know I’m not the only one.

Glad you’re still here. Sorry you’re having so much trouble with stuff. As for the car window, I had it happen to both windows in my van about 6 months apart, $400 and something each, ouch. Hopefully in a car it will be cheaper. I hate stuff like that, why can’t stuff just last forever lol.

As for the food, it’s just easier. I find myself falling in that rut sometimes too, it
s tough to think “this is for life” I think sometimes we just want a darn break from it all. Glad you’re finding your way back. Just keep reminding yourself that you’re great!! Hope this week goes better for you.

Hi Pamela, I am new to your blog, but just had to come visit after Diana gave you such raves in her last post. Sorry to hear about your techno troubles. Seems we all go through that at one time or another. I invite you to drop by my blog sometime.
