Not to be premature…

Holy cow!  Two posts from me in one day!

Now, as I was saying, not to be premature, but I think I’m almost BACK!

You may have noticed that I’ve started blogging a bit more this week – okay, even one post could be considered “more.”  I’ve not been back on plan completely and am still eating FAR too much, but I’m eating a bunch of lower calorie items instead of a bunch of higher calorie items.    Progress, right?

But tonight, after spending an hour and a half trying to get my e-mail inbox down from over 1900 e-mails to about 1500, I gave up on that and switched to something else.  (Note:  the size of my inbox is not a reflection of my popularity, merely a reflection of my slacker-ness).

So I pulled out my trusty Google Reader and went to town on your blogs!  I know, I know, you may not have seen a comment from me, but I did read them!  Now, granted, there was only so far back I could go.  I have been out of the blogging world for several months now.  I did, however, make a genuine effort over the past several hours to catch up on what was going on with you.  And I have to say that you all have done more to inspire me than anything else could have done.  I should have gotten my ass back long before now.

So tomorrow, I’m going to make a concerted effort to actually track what I eat.  I’m also going to make an effort to keep up with you all more.  Try and earn the faithfulness that you all have shown me.  In other words, this is my goal:

Me + Avoidance = No longer a couple.

And speaking of wonderful people who have stuck with me through my most recent insanity, I have to thank Skye for blessing me with the following award.  I’m sure you’ve all checked out her blog, but if not, please do.  She’s one special lady and a hell of a good friend!

There’s no way I could only name 15 people to pass it on to without feeling bad that I left someone out, so I’m going to follow a few others in saying that you are ALL wonderful!
