By now, I’m sure you’ve all heard about the disgusting (my opinion) PETA billboard.
Let me state two things before I further state my opinion:
1. I’m all for animal rights.
2. I’m all for people being vegetarian or vegan if that is what they choose.
Now my opinion. I can’t stand PETA. I think their tactics go too far, are often counter-productive in most situations, and in others, like this one and the one below, are just plain disgusting.
My dad sent me this link that I thought was really interesting. I enjoyed the interview with Montel, so make sure to listen to the audio, and was just further disgusted by Ms. Newkirks’ skirty answers.

Make sure to check out the comments – there’re some really good replies. I agree with one person that commented in that she didn’t truly give a real apology. Her “I’m sorry if anyone’s feelings were hurt” doesn’t acknowledge the fact that their actions were just wrong. They treat animals better than they do their fellow humans.
As I said before – this is just my own personal opinion.
