I know I haven’t posted in a while. I think I unofficially decided to take a break from the cyber world for a while. I was just getting really burned out. There’s also been a lot going on in my life lately.
My car is having a VERY Merry Christmas of its own. A couple of weeks ago, I paid almost $400 to have the motor assembly in my driver’s side window repaired. The following Saturday, I paid about $94 to have the serpentine belt replaced.
This past Saturday, we went out to enjoy the Christmas lights and do some shopping [ ... ]

Well, I did it!
I lost 4.8 pounds this week! I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed (I know, I know – that’s ridiculous), but I really can’t complain. I’ve been completely on plan since Wednesday of last week.
I’m pretty proud of myself. Technically, today is my first day of the week, so I’m one day into my second week and still on plan!
I haven’t seen the Biggest Loser finale yet since I’m at work, but you can bet that’ll be the first thing I watch when I get home tonight!

I feel so accomplished right now! I had a busy bee weekend.
I tried to go to bed much earlier than usual on Friday night, so that I could get up on Saturday and work on my Christmas shopping. I believe I got most of it done. I have my dad to shop for, and a couple of things to pick up for my mom, but I think that’s all that’s left. My mom and I went out to lunch – Applebee’s – and then ran to K-Mart to get some thermal underwear. Yes, you read [ ... ]

I was just surfing the web and came across a movie that I previously had not heard of. It is called “Lbs.” After watching the trailer, I am now anxiously awaiting March 2010. Check it out here.

So how was everybody’s weekend/holiday? I really enjoyed the time off of work. It was a nice little break. Too short and it flew by, of course, but it was nice.
I had a very low-key Thanksgiving day. My parents and I spent most of the day watching Bones, Season 3. Then my mom went to my grandma’s house while I stayed home with my dad. He had accidentally messed up his medications and their dose times that morning and wasn’t feeling at the top of his game.
