“Getting to Know You”

Me, me, me.  Since I’ve been blogging much more frequently lately and have cut back on my blog reading (temporarily, I promise – I was just getting a bit overwhelmed trying to keep up with so many people), I’ve felt that I’ve been in my own little “me universe.”  Blah.  There are much more interesting topics out there.  Such as YOU. “Run, Jeny, Run”

I mentioned in my last post early this morning that one of the books that I had finished recently was “Like Me: Confessions of a Heartland Country Singer,” by Chely Wright.  I haven’t listened to country music in years upon years, though I really loved it when I was in high school in the mid-’90s.  (I blame my best friend for sucking me into it!)  But I’ve always been a fan of Chely’s music, even if I haven’t listened to it in a while. A New Day

It’s almost 2:00 am and I’m sitting in my living room searching through Netflix for something to watch.  I found myself thinking that sometimes Netflix actually has too many choices.  In the almost 400 movies in my instant queue, I end up settling on something that I’ve seen before.  Of course.  I picked “Notting Hill,” but it’s never been one of my favorite Julia Roberts movies, though I like both her and Hugh Grant quite a bit (especially Hugh Grant).  Now, I’m actually about 14 minutes into it and am contemplating a switch.
