1.Where are you from? Grew up in MA, live in NYC.
2.How old are you? 29
3.Are you married? Nope. Eventually will go down that road.
4.Do you have kids? Nope. I’d like three. =)
5.What is your favorite hobby? Writing, watching baseball, exploring, trying new beer, doing things that are different from my everyday life!
6.What is your favorite kind of movie/book?Books – memoirs. I like to read about fascinating people. It serves as a reminder that we can be fascinating too with a little effort. Movies – everything from mindless action to unique foreign documentaries. I’ll give anything a whirl
7.What you think your greatest quality is. I’m a great drinking buddy. Sounds silly, I know, or even immature..but sometimes the greatest problems have been resolved over a pint.
8.Anything else you’d like to share? I’ve been a long time reader of your blog. It’s a part of my regular readings when I need a pick me up to get back into the swing of things.

1.Where are you from? I’m from Maryland, lived in Baltimore till I was 21 and now live in St. Mary’s County where I’m surrounded by water and love it.

2.How old are you? I’ll be 43 next month.

3.Are you married? Yes, to a sweet man named Mike who I met on the internet 14 1/2 yrs ago. He lived in Ohio and moved here to Maryland for me.

4.Do you have kids? Yes, we have 2 and also raise my nephew who came to live with us 7 yrs ago.

5.What is your favorite hobby? Probably the computer these days. But I use to love several different hobbies which I should get back to, crocheting, candle making, lotions, lip balms, soaps, paint by numbers, puzzle books, reading.

6.What is your favorite kind of movie/book? romantic comedy for movies and mystery for books.

7.What you think your greatest quality is. Hmmm that’s a tough one, I think I’m funny, friendly, loving, I’ll leave it at that.

8.Anything else you’d like to share? Not really think if you’ve read my blog I’ve rambled enough about myself lol.

Where are you from? Originally? Ontario, Canada. Miss being home….currently, DC ‘burbs
How old are you? 38 (ack!)
Are you married? Yep. We’ll celebrate 10 years in August
Do you have kids? 3- 8 year old girl and twin 6 year old boys
What is your favorite hobby? lately, a toss up between knitting and scrapping/card making. Depends on my mood. Reading comes in a close 2nd.
What is your favorite kind of movie/book? Book: anything but sci-fi. ADORE the Harry Potter series, but I promise I have read much more than those!
What you think your greatest quality is. I’m compassionate to a fault.
Anything else you’d like to share? Love your blog! Love how real you are about this whole weight-loss journey you’re on and it helps me feel less alone or “weird” when I read that you and others feel much like me in this journey. Oh…the other thing…I have only 12 school days left ’til summer vacation (I’m a teacher and SOOOOOO ready for summer!) PPS: I have a blog, but it won’t link here for some reason. I am from a small town in south Louisiana about 35 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico and 65 miles south of New Orleans!

How old are you?
Why, I am 35 years young! lol

Are you married?
Yes! 15 years now! Very happily, might I add!

Do you have kids?
Yes. One beautiful daughter. She’s 16 already! Yikes! lol

What is your favorite hobby?
Used to be reading, but now it’s fb and blogging!

Romance/Drama for both

What you think your greatest quality is?
I am compassionate…. almost to a fault.

My goal in life is to become an exercise freak! lol I absolutely HATE exercising. I keep praying that one day I will come to love it so it is no longer a struggle for me.

I spent most of my life in San Diego, CA, but as soon as I was old enough to move I came to Alaska and have been here ever since

How old are you?
I just turned 24.

Are you married?
Yup, four years and some change.

Do you have kids?
Two daughters and a son on the way.

What is your favorite hobby?
Probably reading!

What is your favorite kind of movie/book?
I like all kinds, but probably fantasy, historical fiction, and historical/biographical are my faves, especially if some romance is woven in

I’m friendly and dependable.

Anything else you’d like to share?
Will a confession do? I had to option to make brown rice tonight and made white, instead. And it was GOOD too! I am so glad my plan tends toward ‘everything in moderation’ so I can just enjoy my food and be confident I won’t fall off the wagon

Where are you from? Yorkshire, Northern England. But I’ve lived the last 14 years in Devon, South West Peninsular.
How old are you? 38
Are you married? No

What is your favorite hobby? Blogging, pottery, walking, taking photos, spending time with the Bear.
What is your favorite kind of movie/book? I don’t think I have a type. My favourite movie – probably Amadeus. For books – classics, Maigret for something less heavy.
What you think your greatest quality is. Errrrr – definitely nothing in the health and fitness realm! My ability to understand others – but only because I’ve been through a ton of sh*t myself.

This is a great idea. I love getting to know my blog friends. Here’s some info about me.

1.Where are you from?

I live in Boston during the week and Vermont on the weekends. We like to say we work in Boston and LIVE in Vermont.

2.How old are you?

I will be celebrating my fourth 39th anniversary in July.

3.Are you married?

Technically, no, but we’ve been together since ’83, living in sin since ’85 but there is no common law marriage in Mass. so, no, we’re not married. After 27 years we figure why mess with a good thing.

4.Do you have kids?

No, B is a big kid and more than I can handle most days. I’m the best Auntie though.

5.What is your favorite hobby?

Snowmobiling, Photography and Reading – I can’t choose a favorite.

6.What is your favorite kind of movie/book?

I like all types of movies and books except scary spooky ones.

1. Where are you from? – I never know how to answer this question. I spent the first 13.5 years of my life living in Brooklyn, NY, went to high school in Central New York, undergrad in Buffalo for 4 years, moved to Boston for a year, back to Buffalo for a year, Rochester NY for about a year, Athens Ohio for two years for grad school, near Albany NY for 8 months and am now back at my parents’ house in Central New York
2. How old are you? – 27
3. Are you married? – I was engaged until about a month ago. I hope one day to get married.
4. Do you have kids? – Hopefully one day
5. What is your favorite hobby? – reading, watching movies, started to get into scrapbooking/card-making.
6. What is your favorite kind of movie/book? – With movies I look to be entertained, and what will do that depends on my mood, anything from Disney/kids movies to action movies to independent films. With books I’ll read basically anything that keeps me engaged. This has more to do with an author’s style than the type or subject of the book. I am an avid and fast reader so I have instituted a rule about the books I’m allowed to purchase, I can only buy a book if I am sure I will want to read it again or reference it in the future after reading it. This has lead to me having quite a large collection of “romance” novels, mainly Nora Roberts, though my Debbie Macomber, Susan Wiggs, and Catherine Anderson collections are growing. I also really enjoy Urban Fantasy type science fiction novels. My favorite authors in this category right now are Kelley Armstrong, C.E. Murphy, Patricia Briggs, Yasmine Galenorn, Faith Hunter, and Karen Chance.
7. What you think your greatest quality is? – I’m an extremely loyal and caring person.
8. Anything else you’d like to share? – Not that I can think of right now…. Off to shower and finish prepping for my interview at 1pm.
