I always find it interesting to see how people find my site or hear about it. Sometimes, if I think about it, I’ll look at the stats, and I’m always interested to see what people are searching for most that lead them to my site. Here are some of the most popular ones (in no particular order) and surprisingly, most of them are just random things I happened to have mentioned once upon a time. Each search term is linked to the page here on my site, and I’ve excluded ones where they were obviously searching for my site.
- Archer Farms Fruit Strips and a second page
- Extra v. Trident gum
- Various searches for California, Hollywood sign, Brian Krause (It’s still so interesting to me how I was so self conscious on this trip – feeling so fat because I had gained about 16 lbs or so from my lowest – and now I’m a lot heavier. God, I was stupid)
- Various searches for “Lbs.” the Movie, Carmine Famiglietti, Matthew Bonifacio
- “Zaphod” from “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” and the song “One Tribe Y’all”
- Weight Watchers 18 point menu (I don’t actually give an 18 point menu)
- Chely Wright, her book, her songs, her necklace (I’m glad I asked what her necklace was, because there seem to be a lot of people that are curious about it)
- New Kids on the Block and Lady Gaga
I won’t mention the search I saw once regarding a certain kind of private tape made by fat people. Yes, I was disturbed-most particularly by how the heck they came to find my site with that search.
Update: somehow I forgot one of the ones that gets almost more than any other: My Stitches Story (It’s amazing how many people search for variations on “stitches in finger” or “mandolin accident”)
