I’m still staying strong on the cookie front. I’ve popped a piece of Wild Blueberry Twist Trident Gum and am trying to picture the cookies in such a way that makes the thought of eating one repulsive to me. Such as:
While someone was grabbing a cookie earlier, they sneezed on them.
or
Someone picked through them after going to the bathroom and not washing their hands.
or
Whoever made them at the bakery had a nasty rash that they’d itched while they were making them.
and so on…..
Okay, I think that worked. Cookies? What cookies?

Argh. What are they trying to do to me? I work evenings, so by the time I get to work, I have my points pretty much scheduled for the entire day. I have it planned out exactly what I will be eating while I’m here.
Today, I happened to come in hungry – stomach growling kind of hunger. I don’t know why. I haven’t eaten any differently today than normal. And what do we have in the department? Cookies! I think some are macadamia nut (which I have no problem passing over) but the others are chocolate chip! My favorite!

Normally, I have no problems sticking to my plan while I’m at work. It’s always been at home that I’ve struggled. It is probably because I have less access to food while at work.
This week, however, my real difficulties have been in the workplace. Periodically, my company will cater in a lunch meal to thank us for our hard work, and for the last couple of years, I’ve not allowed myself to participate. I decided this time I was going to take advantage of it like everybody else can. So, I had small servings of meat lasagna, vegetable lasagna, and chicken fettuccini [ ... ]
