Weigh-In 5/6/08 (Week 100)

It’s week 100!  I can’t believe I’ve been on Weight Watchers for 100 weeks now!  Unfortunately, but as I suspected, I gained this week.  I didn’t do anything differently this week and stuck to my points, but I knew it was coming.  I could feel it.  Happily, though, it’s nothing to worry about.  At least I don’t think so.  I only gained 0.3 lb.  )  I’ll be back down next week!

Weigh-In 4/22/08

I lost 2.1 pounds this week!  I’m on a roll!  It’s so nice to be back.  With this loss today, I’ve also broken into a new decade.  Luckily, though, I’m not far enough in to have dropped a point, but that should be coming soon.  Yikes!  I’m having a hard enough time with the points I am allowed now.  I don’t know what I’ll do when I have to drop another point. I’m a bit concerned about the upcoming weekend.  I have a big luncheon to attend on Saturday, and then a family get-together on Sunday with out-of-town relatives.  Hopefully I’ll [ ... ]

Weigh-In 4/15/08 “150 Pounds Gone!”

Well, tax day is now officially a good day!  I did it!! I did it!!  Finally, after all of these months of roller coasting up and down and struggling, I did it!  I’ve lost 151.1 pounds!  I lost 1.7 pounds this week.  This means I finally have less than 40 pounds to go (38.8 to be exact)!  I may stop after about 20 more, though.  We’ll see. My next mini goal is to lose 4.8 pounds.  If I can do this, then I will merely be overweight and I can leave my obese days behind me.  Forever.  And I can do it. [ ... ]

Weigh-In 4/8/08

And the roller coaster continues!  I lost 2.5 pounds this week!  So, I am back down 149.4 lbs.  Only 0.6 lb till I reach 150 lbs gone!  I followed the plan really carefully last week, tracked everything I ate, and drank a lot more water.  It evidently paid off.  I’m determined to do it again this week!

Weigh-In 4/1/08

Somehow, miraculously, I actually lost 1.5 pounds this week! Okay, not really.  I did gain two pounds this week, but it’s better than the three I saw on the scale yesterday! Hope everyone is having a happy (and fun) April Fool’s Day!

Work Temptations

Normally, I have no problems sticking to my plan while I’m at work.  It’s always been at home that I’ve struggled.  It is probably because I have less access to food while at work. This week, however, my real difficulties have been in the workplace.  Periodically, my company will cater in a lunch meal to thank us for our hard work, and for the last couple of years, I’ve not allowed myself to participate.  I decided this time I was going to take advantage of it like everybody else can.  So, I had small servings of meat lasagna, vegetable lasagna, and chicken fettuccini [ ... ]

Weigh-In 3/25/08

Well, even with my slip up on Easter Sunday, I lost 1.3 pounds this week.  I don’t get it.  Based on recent history, I’m expecting to gain about that much next week.  We’ll see.

Weigh-In 3/18/08

All right.  That’s it.  I quit.  Okay, not really, but I am getting pretty darn frustrated here.  After yet another week of sticking to the plan and doing what I’m supposed to, the scale showed a gain of 1.4 pounds today.  Argh. I’ve been keeping an Excel spreadsheet ever since I started Weight Watchers that tracks and graphs out my weight, losses/gains, how much I need to lose, my BMI, leftover flex points, goals (and pounds needed to be lost to meet them), activity points, measurements, etc.  Yeah, I know I’m showing my geekiness here, but it’s pretty darn cool if I [ ... ]

Weigh-In 3/11/08

WHOOHOO!  I lost 1.7 pounds this week!  I’m not quite back to where I was before I started gaining (need to lose 0.7 lbs more to get to where I was), but I’m exactly one pound away from having lost 150 pounds.  Let me tell you, there will be a celebration at my house on that day, as well as an update to the Blue Shirt Comparison picture.  Maybe next week?  I’m afraid to be too hopeful, though.  For today, I’m pretty darn happy. I think that has been part of my problem.  The novelty of the weight loss had worn off [ ... ]

Weigh-In 3/4/08

Considering the week I’ve had, I was expecting at least a six pound gain.  Especially since I literally ate everything in sight.  I saw it.  I wanted it.  I ate it. Somehow, miraculously, I was only up 0.4 lb this week!  It’s either a miracle, or it just hasn’t caught up to me yet.  I guess I’ll find out next week.  Keep your fingers crossed for me (or say a little prayer, whatever you’re into)! 

Weigh-In 2/26/08

Well, I was up 2 pounds again this week even though I stayed within my points.  I’m afraid I may be reaching a plateau again.  Ugh.

Weigh-In 2/12/08

Whoohoo!  I’m back on track, guys!  Even with my little after weigh-in binge of last Tuesday, I was able to pull it together to bring in a loss of 1.2 pounds this week!  Yay!   I’ll just ignore the fact that I weigh exactly what I did 3 weeks ago.  <sigh>  But, at least I’m heading in the right direction again.  Hopefully I can keep up the momentum!

Weigh-In 2/4/08

Sadly, I was only down 0.1 of a pound this week!  Ugh.  I prefer to believe that it is a glitch – hormonal or otherwise.

Weigh-In 1/22/08

Well, I gained 1.9 pounds this week.  How?  I have no idea, because I followed the plan.  I’m not going to stress over it, though, because sometimes that’s just how it goes.  I’m keeping my fingers crossed for next week.
